My communication with Mr. Hoffkins by my request , was mostly via e-mail in order to contain costs. He was receptive to that and responded to my concerns. Kevin was really nice during his "free" consultation. However, the day he got us to sign a retainer he changed colors. I had heard bad reps about lawyers, but Kevin takes it to another level. We decided to drop him and suddenly he threatened us about the outcome of the case being unfavorable and how ...we were making a huge mistake. We are currently trying to recoup some of the retainer fees, but as expected he is not answering any of our attempts. We are planning to go to the Connecticut BAR association with an official complaint.
