I highly recommend Kevin Hoffkins to anyone who needs a personal injury lawyer. I contacted Kevin over the weekend after I was involved in a collision on a Friday afternoon. Kevin drove out to my house, which is in the middle of nowhere, to discuss my case. Despite the fact that it was during the C...ovid pandemic, I never felt disconnected or uninformed about the case. Kevin was always available to talk on the phone and answered all emails promptly. We were offered a settlement which after researching similar cases seemed fair. Although Kevin said the decision was completely up to me, he did say that he thought we would be able to do much better. I took his advice and ended up with a settlement that more than doubled the original offer. Kevin is down to earth, and a pleasure to work with. He is an extremally experienced and competent lawyer.

Kevin was really nice during his "free" consultation. However, the day he got us to sign a retainer he changed colors. I had heard bad reps about lawyers, but Kevin takes it to another level. We decided to drop him and suddenly he threatened us about the outcome of the case being unfavorable and how ...we were making a huge mistake. We are currently trying to recoup some of the retainer fees, but as expected he is not answering any of our attempts. We are planning to go to the Connecticut BAR association with an official complaint.
