Having practiced for more than twenty-five years, Charles particularly enjoys handling personal injury, workers' compensation and family litigation matters. Charles is an eight time former member of the United States Canoe and Kayak Team, having competed in many World Championships, European Cup and Pan American Competitions in the two-man canoe whitewater slalom event. He is a silver and bronze medal winner in World Championship events. In other words, he is fearless! He is a life-long resident of Norwalk, Connecticut, and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He holds a special interest in historic preservation, animal protection, environmental causes and jazz music. Charles has served on the executive boards of the Saugatuck Valley Audubon Society, the Norwalk Education Foundation, and presently, on the Board of Directors of the Norwalk Preservation Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of Norwalk's cultural heritage. Charles interned with the Sierra Club Legal Defense Fund, and is a member of the Sprite Island Yacht Club in Norwalk. He also gave back to his alma mater, Norwalk High School, as a parent volunteer and for many years as a co-chair of the annual Norwalk High School Jazz Festival.
