Work is an important part of everyday life for almost all Americans. Knowing your value and obtaining that value is vital every day that we get up and go to work. We gain dignity and a sense of personal pride from the work that we do. We identify ourselves by what we do. We are able to raise families, help others, and see the world because of the work that we do. And because work is so essential and valuable to our identities as human beings, it is vitally important that we protect the workplace and the dignity of work while at the same time ensuring that we allow the workplace to flourish. Often there is a tension that arises between workers and employers. But ultimately employers and employees want the same things - success, accomplishment, and the ability to earn a good living. Recognizing that our similarities typically outweigh our differences, my law office works with both employers and employees to ensure that the workplace allows individuals to flourish, and profits to be made. If I can be of service to you and you share this vision of work, please call.

As soon as I signed the contract , everything was "settle". RONALD J. PUGLIESE, Jr, Horrible, forgot half of what he was ask to do. he screwed up in filing my court case and never followed though correctly. If I had listened to them in the begining, i wouldn't have even won my medical insurance! I w...
We are so sorry that this was your experience. In the end, we put cash in your pocket, got you a full retirement, and medical benefits to boot. We are trial lawyers, passionate advocates for the rights of the people we serve. We like to win for our clients. And in this case, winning for you meant settling the case to guarantee a favorable outcome. Sometimes cases fall apart not because the lawyering is bad, but because the facts are bad. And sometimes your facts get worse as your case proceeds. That is what happened here. Your case started as a demotion. But then you were disciplined two more times. You were about to be fired. And, represented by a union lawyer - not by our firm - you lost a union grievance arbitration asserting that the employer had treated you unfairly. Despite all of your disciplinary issues that arose after you retained us, we didn’t quit on you. We kept pushing for you. And as a result, your employer came to us with a decent offer that put cash in your pocket. You got to retire with a full pension. You received medical insurance benefits with your retirement. We recommended this settlement because given your disciplinary history, there was a significant risk that you might lose at trial… and walk away with nothing. Not incidentally, you agreed to have a Connecticut Superior Court judge assist in settling the case; and the judge agreed that the settlement was fair. He referred to the case as a “dud,” by the time it got to him. You yourself had final say about whether you would settle or not. You chose to settle. You had seven days to change your mind. But you didn’t. We think your choice was a wise one. We stand by our work. And we wish you well.
