On 12/24/19, Fairfield Police Incident Report CFS 1900047027 explains I had a verbal, settled argument w/my then 14 year old daughter. I hired this attorney and brought to her attention that temporary restraining order 19-4074132 accusing me, a 100% disabled man, of throwing my minor child needed imm...ediate correction. I paid this attorney $11, 500 to represent me in case #NNH-FA-20-6103009-S specifically to clear my name and reunite me with my daughter, even through therapy that I extended to my entire nuclear family. Despite court orders for reunification therapy, she never brought any contempt charges to the judge’s attention although my lack of contact has extended well beyond her “efforts “. She assured me that the financial portion of the divorce is essentially formulaic. Despite my repeated calls for her to rectify her approach, she never brought up the obvious discrepancy between what actually happened and a verifiably fictitious, character-assassinating TRO. Today I have a 4 cm tumor too close to my carotid to biopsy and I still have not spoken or seen my minor daughter since December 24, 2019. I brought this issue up to the state grievance panel (case #20-0376), and after this attorney successfully hired another attorney to defend her, the panel of retired and current lawyers decided that my stammering four times in front of the judge a month after I was blindsided by the lie-filled TRO was my only opportunity to call attention to this perversion of justice. I will also swear an earth that the first time I ever met this attorney, her back was turned to me and she was already in discussions with my ex-wife’s attorney. I recently came upon the concept of parental alienation. I reread my initial restraining order complaint (# anyhow-FA19-4074133-S against my wife dated 12/26/19. I don’t believe this attorney ever read my complaint. Her lack of confronting an obviously hostile defendant was also documented in the fact that the opposing attorney actually admitted to the state grievance panel that he had a role in intercepting and forwarding my 2018 IRS tax documents, my first year as a 100% disabled individual on a fixed income, from the USPS to an accountant without my permission. As my ex-wife‘s attorney threaten to extend a restraining order, I had to finally had enough of this attorney’s stonewalling on these irregularities. Candidly, I was also put off by being charged $200 to struggle with PayPal over the phone with her administrative assistant while I seas more concerned with her lack of effort on my child’s and my behalf. This attorney was eventually fired by me because of her lack of candor regarding her communications with the opposing attorney. Everything I have said in print can be documented independently, and quite honestly, I wonder if Judge Karen Goodrow knows that a well-documented case of insufficient representation resulted in a textbook definition of what family courts are beginning to understand country-wide: Parental Alienation happened -actually played out in real time- in a case presided by her. My divorce was finalized August 17 of this year, and what started off with an verifiably lie-laden restraining order and an exculpatory police report from 12/24/19 as my initial attorney. I simply asked for her to fix a legal document. She failed. And I have documentation for every FACT listed above with even more details of deviation from what I wanted her to do as my attorney that led to where I am today: Disabled, in debt to lawyers, and having to give up custody of my daughter to simply get her phone number before my X- wife agreed to the terms. I don’t spend too much time thinking about what would’ve happened if this attorney simply had done her job and challenged the fax of a restraining order that could be easily refuted with a police report. But like with the rest of life, it’s always your choice. Good luck with a judicial system that literally abetted the theft of my child.

Attorney Shore helped me through a difficult time with a difficult a ex. My ex's demands were unrealistic, unfair and not equitable for our children. Shari made that clear to not only my ex, but her attorney as well. Due to her tenacity, a fair agreement was reached and continues to be working and m...anageable. You should never go through these situations without an attorney and I'm 100% happy I had Attorney Shore by my side to reach an agreement with a difficult ex. If you're considering her, I highly recommend hearing what she has to offer.

I recently needed to modify my prior parenting plan due to the addition of a new child. I told Attorney Shore that I wanted to keep the matter amicable and she helped me to negotiate outside of court and then we only went to court to finalize the agreement. I really appreciated that she handled the m...atter the way that I asked her to and that she was non-confrontational to my ex. I think this probably helped keep my fees low too because there wasn't a lot of fighting back and forth. I had a great experience with Attorney Shore and would recommend her to friends or family.

I rarely take time to post a review online, but I believe my review here is needed. Attorney Shore is pleasant and seems to be an ambitious young Attorney, but unfortunately she is lacking in ethics of the profession. I hired her for a divorce case after she agreed to a retainer of six thousands dol...lars that will cover everything unless the case goes for trial. That was our oral agreement, but she made me sign her regular contract that indicates replenishing the money when it falls lower than six hundred dollars. As we proceeded, she backtracked on the agreement requesting that she get more money from the opposing party- the income-making spouse because "he asked her if she is being paid". No wonder I felt from the "advice" or better " mis-advice" she had been giving me that her loyalty seemed to be with the opposing party. After a couple of months from hiring her I informed her that she was not representing my best interest and thus I ended her services. She accomplished NOTHING during that period and used up almost all of the retainer. I really hoped I would be writing a praise for Attorney Shore, but unfortunately I would be dishonest if I did that.

I retained Attorney Shore for a divorce agreement modification. All I can say is WOW. Hands down the best Attorney I have ever hired in my entire life. She is tough, smart, and not afraid to tackle difficult and sensitive issues with a firm and caring hand. I have never seen someone stand up for my r...ights in court the way that Attorney Shore did. She worked with me out of state, spent long hours on my case, all while she was EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT. I can not put into words what her representation has meant to me and my family. If you do not hire Attorney Shore, you are not hiring the best.
