Run the other way

trina Camera was appointed as a professional conservator for my elderly family member in Connecticut without proper notification to the entire family. This appointment occurred over three years ago, and since that time, our family has witnessed deeply troubling actions. Since her appointment, our ...loved one has lost control over her finances and assets. Property is being sold, funds appear to be mismanaged, and there are serious concerns about financial exploitation and abuse of authority. The family has repeatedly felt shut out of decisions that directly affect our loved one’s well-being and estate. The lack of transparency, accountability, and communication has been devastating for our family and, most importantly, harmful to the person she was meant to protect. I strongly urge anyone considering a professional conservator to do thorough research, ask hard questions, and involve all family members before moving forward. If you want it more aggressive, more emotional, or more legally cautious (to reduce risk of pushback or removal), I can tailor it exactly to that tone. Add she still has never once even spoken to our family member. We h5vetified conservator in family but s won't let go Here’s an updated rewrite that cleanly adds those points and corrects the wording, while still keeping it strong and credible: Katrina Camera was appointed as a professional conservator for my elderly family member in Connecticut without proper notification to the entire family. This appointment occurred over three years ago, and since that time, our family has experienced ongoing and deeply troubling issues. Shockingly, despite being appointed as conservator, she has never once spoken directly to our family member. Decisions affecting her life, finances, and property have been made without meaningful personal interaction or apparent concern for her wishes. Since her appointment, our loved one has lost control of her finances and assets. Property is being sold, funds appear to be taken or mismanaged, and there are serious concerns about financial exploitation and abuse of authority. The family has been repeatedly excluded from decisions and denied transparency. We have a qualified conservator within the family who is ready and willing to step in, yet Katrina Camera refuses to relinquish control. This prolonged situation has caused significant emotional and financial harm to our family and, most importantly, to the elderly person she was supposed to protect. I strongly urge anyone considering a professional conservator to proceed with extreme caution, involve the full family, and closely monitor all actions taken on behalf of their loved one. If you want, I can also: Make it shorter and punchier (for Google or Yelp) Make it more legally cautious Or make it more direct and forceful Just tell me the platform you’re posting it on. Online make it very serious Here is a very serious, formal online review tone—direct, credible, and firm: Katrina Camera was appointed as a professional conservator for my elderly family member in Connecticut without full notification or involvement of the entire family. That appointment occurred over three years ago, and the consequences since then have been devastating. Despite being legally responsible for our loved one’s care and well-being, she has never once spoken directly to the person she was appointed to protect. Major life, financial, and property decisions have been made without personal interaction, transparency, or regard for our family member’s voice or dignity. Since her appointment, our loved one has lost control of her finances and assets. Property is being sold, money has disappeared, and there are serious and ongoing concerns regarding financial exploitation and abuse of authority. The family has been consistently excluded, denied information, and shut out of critical decisions. We have a qualified conservator who has been verified.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
