not really a good lawyer

eric dean promises the world, like everyone else does, but when i comes down to more than what to fill out on the form, he bails and helps you find alternative options, by yourself, because he can really do nothing more than help your brainstorm options.. Once in awhile a visa needs more than options..., and that is professional help, and Eric is totally incapable of handling this..

This client's (let's call him "Frank") fiancee tested positive for use of illegal drugs. Rather than deny the visa, the consulate put her into a protocol where she had to test every month for a year, and then she might qualify for a visa. So, the consulate basically did her a favor. However, the medical authorities responsible for the testing were not as responsive as Frank wanted when he felt that his fiancee had successfully completed the testing protocol. Repeated calls did not seem to move the needle--basically, the medical testing people held all the cards and it was up to them to declare compliance and put the case on track for a visa, and they were taking their time. This is not a "legal matter" where an attorney can sue someone; it's a matter of bureaucrats finally issuing a favorable report. I suggested (many times) that Frank contact his Senator--because US Senators have special influence in cases of this nature. Frank has an explosive temper. He would call me every 6 months or so, and yell and scream at me, demanding that I get the medical authorities to act, when any number of calls and inquiries failed to get their attention. It looks like the Senator's intervention will finally result in issuance of a visa. That is what I had suggested for the longest time.

Amazing K-1 Visa Attorney

Eric is a wonderful and amazing attorney that made the K-1 visa process very simple and fast. We applied during the end of October and received our interview and got approved for the visa in April! Eric prepared our K-1 application very accurately and without any flaws. Whenever I had a question, I w...ould just send him an email and he would reply! Without him, I believe the K-1 visa process would have been difficult. His specialization in fiancé(e) visas is what sets him apart from other attorneys. Also, his fee is very reasonable! I would highly recommend Eric to anyone who wants to apply for a K-1 visa/fiancé(e) visa. Thank you, Eric!

K1 Visa application

We knew upfront that the application for our K1 Visa would be hard to fill out, so we decided to use Eric Dean Law Office. That was a great decision, he made our part easy and did the paperwork toward the USCIS. Eric is layed back, open and very reliable. We are going to rehire him again for our AO...S paperwork.

Glad We Found Eric!

We knew right away we will use a lawyer to help us, because we knew several couples who were not well prepared and were denied. I can tell you right now that it is a long, pricy, stressful, difficult and often confusing process. We know now, that we would not be able to do it without Eric. He is wort...h it! I found Eric while surfing the Internet. I typed in “Find the best immigration lawyer” and Eric’s name popped up. First, I thought it was too good to be true, but everything I researched about Eric, and later experienced on my own, was true. Eric delivered what he promised. Professional, organized, easy to navigate, easy to communicate, detailed instructions step by step were send in time. Due to our different time zones (me being on the west coast and Eric on the east coast of USA) we communicated mostly via email. Twice via phone when urgent. When needed, Eric would answer my emails within 24 hours. Not so urgent answers he would answer within a week. All important questions were always answered. We applied for K1 visa in 2018, that year the application process took longer than in any other previous year. Eric sent warning right at the start “Be patient it will take 7 – 9 months”. It took us 7! Waiting, wondering and not knowing is the worst. It was comforting to know that our paperwork was flawless. I flew in for the interview to my fiancé’ country in the Caribbean. It was a good decision. The interview took 30 minutes. The consular was genuinely interested in our story and wished to hear many details from both of us. Then we were approved. All our documents done by Eric were on the consular’s desk in one big fat file. He went over it several times. He did not ask for any additional personal documents. I have to say that the K1 visa’s final stage gets little confusing, because you are applying for nonimmigrant visa, but the embassy will treat it as an immigrant visa. So, watch for this difference in the final directions from your embassy. My fiancé, now my husband, and I will be applying for his green card soon. And guess who will be helping us? Thank you, Eric, for all your assistance and clear guidance! It was nice to have someone on our side!
