Professional and Friendly
My husband and I retained Jennifer Rodriguez to assist us with obtaining a U.S. Visa for my husband, who is from Mexico. She speaks Spanish and English, which was incredibly helpful! She is friendly and easy to talk to. She made things very clear from the start and guided us through each step. The time line of events happened exactly as she said they would and my husband was approved for his U.S. Visa the month we were expecting it to happen! Working with Jennifer was a great experience and I reccomend her to anyone needing help with immigration issues. She is a fantastic resource! We are very happy to have her as our immigration attorney!

Knowledgeable and experienced attorney
Jennifer was very friendly and helpful even from our first meeting with her. We felt comfortable with her as our attorney from the first day. Our immigration process was more vanilla than most, but it is still somewhat nerve-racking at moments, such as during the interview process and waiting for responses from the government. But having someone as knowledgeable and organized as Jennifer by our side, we were comfortable throughout the entire process. We are not sure if we will need immigration legal services in the future, but if we do, we are confident that she will be the first one we call. Thanks Jennifer!

Response from Jennifer Rodriguez September 30, 2016
I am not an "expert" in the field of Immigration Law. An "expert" is specifically defined in the Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct. The Rules state that a lawyer is NOT an expert or specialist in a field of law unless the lawyer is currently certified as a specialist in that field of law by a board or other entity which is approved by the Rules Committee of the superior court of this state. There is no process in the State of Connecticut to be certified as a specialist or expert in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law at this time.

Best immigration lawyer
I was blessed to have Jennifer as the immigration lawyer representing my husband in 2001. To make a long story short, a previous lawyer didnt know what he was doing. After my husband and I were married over a year, we filed papers for him to start the process to become a permanent resident. Things were going smoothly until one Friday afternoon, a letter came stating for my husband to report to room 411 for "fingerprints"..when I called Hartford, they said, "Room 411 is DEPORTATION". I called my lawery in a frenzy and he didnt know what to do. With that, and GOOGLE, i found Jennifer Rodriguez. Not only did she evade deportation, she got to to the root of our immigration problem and fought on. Our case was a little complex, but with Jennifers thorough knowledge of immigration law and her tactics, we finally won. That was in 2002. I am now, in 2009 helping my husband file for citizenship, and had to pull out the ol' immigration file and everything I needed to reference was in there. I would highly reccomend Jennifer in any immigration need.
