On May 7, 2018 the wonderful life that I thought that I had completely disintegrated. My husband of 33 years, who was in complete control of our family’s finances, revealed to me that he hadn’t filed our state or federal income taxes for the previous 3 years. It has been quite difficult for me to articulate in words what to write for this review. I was fed up with my previous divorce attorney, I did not quite understand legal matters and implications, I have no legal background at all. My first impression of Karen was calm, controlled and extremely knowle...dgeable. She listened to everything I had to say, was honest, did not provide false hope. She helped me see the big picture and not fight for low hanging fruit. She heard everything I said and much more what I did not or could not articulate. She laid out the plan for me and told me what to expect. She was never in a hurry and did not make me feel compelled to make any particular decision, while given her astute legal counsel. She was excellent in communication. She asked how I was faring through the divorce process, she was genuinely interested in my case, and to her it was not just another case.
