Divorce

I was referred to Karen from a friend who went through a divorce with Karen as the opposing attorney. Karen knows how to be a lawyer and she has command of any room she is in. Being a divorce lawyer requires you to wear many hats and one hat Karen hasn't even found yet is compassion. I was devastat...ed that I was getting divorced and she showed no compassion or patience for the feelings I was going through. Often times in meetings where it was Karen and my ex-husband and his attorney I felt very alone and that she was not working in my best interests. There were several times in the nine months I worked with Karen that I had to ask her if she understood that I was her client and not my ex-husband. Would not hire again.
