My husband and I reside in Florida but our daughter (my step-daughter) lives in CT. We were fortunate enough to find him and work with him from FL until the court date. I hired Robert Fiedler to handle my defense for my divorce. I was initially self represented due to financial problems and my spouse had an attorney so I was extremely relieved when I was finally able to get help. Robert took my case on just before it was scheduled to go to court. From the start Robe...rt was very clear about cost, what he needed from me, and what would take place. His ability to explain legal information to myself in a manor that I could understand has been extremely helpful without making me feel unintelligent for not knowing. I have also been surprised at how well he has remembered all the details of my case regardless of other cases he is dealing with. Many times I have contacted him with questions and he always takes the time to make sure I have a good understanding of his response before we are done. In a meeting with the opposition Robert truly took the stage with confidence and tactfulness to lay out an appropriate parenting plan. He also worked on the proposed financial and real estate situation to be fair. If I had remained pro-se I would have been walked all over and Robert is skilled at turning things around to help me. In addition to the divorce I had unfortunately got myself in some trouble that was totally unrelated that of which the outcome could have been quite bad.
