Civil matter, gave him $1,500.00 in cash. He didn't do one thing. Never returned emails, phone calls or texts. If you get "the receptionist" at his office number she sounds bored and harassed, he says don't call my office. I'm suing him in small claims to recover my "retainer" and filing a fo...rmal complaint with the law board. Do not hire him you will be sorry.

He never responded to emails and they were not returned to me as undeliverable. He claimed he never received them. Some time later I tried to contact him, to hire him, and he never retrurned my emails. His office also never returned my call. I am glad I didn't hire him after reading the bad revie...ws. I ended up hiring another firm and I won my case without having to have a trial because I was proactive and submitted my own documents and followed up.

I had this lawyer for a social security disability claim. I had to get most of my medical records to him, seeing as he couldn't be bothered to get most of them himself. Then when he did get them, he did not review them. We went to court with him totally not knowing much about my case. He told the jud...ge he didn't have all my records when in fact he did. I called his office as soon as I got out of court and asked his paralegal if all the records were received and yes they were. He had no idea what he was talking about. So of course I lost my case. He did not go to bat for me at all. I don't recommend David Mester for anything legal. He just doesn't care about his clients!

This attorney let my case drop off the docket twice, making me lose one year of child support!! Not only that but he was retained for 2 motions in court, and at the end of the year of waiting, actually dropped one of the motions without telling me, leaving me to hire another attorney to pay him a ret...ainer that I'd already paid Attorney David P. Mester to motion for. A total waste of time, money and stress. He needs to retire.
