He provides regular case law updates to the Family Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, apprising membership of the details of newly decided Appellate and Supreme Court cases.
David has been recognized in each year since 2013 by Superlawyers Magazine. He was named a "New Leader in the Law" by the Connecticut Law Tribune in 2016. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the area of Family Law for 2021. David was presented with the Judge Maxwell Heiman Award by the Hartford County Bar Association in 2018 for exemplifying high standards of service to the profession, ethics, scholarship, and devotion to clients.
In 2021 he authored two articles for the Connecticut Law Tribune on legislative changes impacting family law, notably revisions to rules in arbitration pertaining to children, and coercion as a form of domestic abuse.
