It happens to me !

I always hear about people/ businesses filing for bankruptcy and would always think of it as someone beating the system......that is untill it happened to me. Job loss and health issues within my family, brought my wife and I to a place where monthly bills such as mortgage, cars, credit cards and "the surprise expenses" along the way (that were once handled with ease) had become impossible to pay. Fear and shame were always haunting us ! Susan Williams and her professional staff (Tammy) helped us to put all the chaos in prospective, understand our options, and make choices to regain control of our lives. The knowledge & confidence of their Profession, along with the non judgmental feeling that they sincerely share with their clients helped my wife and I land on our feet with dignity. She has a deep understanding of the changes that have taken place under the Bankruptcy Reform Act which allows her to guide her clients through the bankruptcy process. In addition to bankruptcy law, Ms. Williams has over 25 years of experience handling cases involving real estate and consumer rights.

Susan M. Williams is licensed to practice law in all state and local courts in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section, Hartford County Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Attorney Williams has also taught seminars on bankruptcy related topics for the Hartford County Bar Association and National Business Institute. She also served as a Panel Speaker chapter 13 at 2014 Annual Convention National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys

Exceeded expectations

Attorney Williams was as gracious as she was knowledgable and she articulated superbly both the substance and process of my situation during our consultation. Also, she responded perfectly to my urgency, which was high and legitimate, and focused entirely on my needs over potential fees. I will hire her in a heartbeat if/when appropriate.

Very responsive

Very professional and compassionate

The last few years have been hard. I was ashamed when I knew it was time to get financial help. Awesome Experience

I needed help and was consulted by ms Williams. All I can say is she went above and beyond the call of duty. She was patient with me and answered all my questions. I’m very pleased with everything she told me. She also told me if I need help in the future to give her a call. Awesome person.

Excellent attorney and team

It took me awhile to actually complete my bankruptcy but when I was ready Attorney Williams and her paralegal Tammy made it so easy and provided me with all the knowledge and resources going forward. Everytime I called or emailed with questions they were answered immediately. I felt like I was a priority to them and that brought me so much comfort.

Great Experience

When my wife and I were searching for a bankruptcy attorney, we chose Attorney Susan Williams based on her Avvo rating. We were not disappointed. Filing for bankruptcy was a scary thing for us. We were nervous and embarrassed that we had to go through this. Attorney Williams and her staff, however, made the entire experience comfortable and easy. They explained the entire process, made sure all of our questions and concerns were answered. It was a great experience as she was with us every step of the way. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to file bankruptcy in Connecticut.

I came from far to search for justice and answers

Ms. Williams have not started my case yet. My impression toward her and her staff the word Excellent can be offensive. She took my case, answer to the best of her ability, demonstrated compassion. I am certain that she will get the justice I deserve. Thank you in advance even thou I cry daily for what it have been done to me and what I have been put thru, I sense you will help me. Great Attorney
