I have over 28 years of experience handling Personal Injury matters.  It began with a 9 year career as an Insurance Claims Adjuster / Bodily Injury Specialist for a large, national insurance carrier.  I know exactly how the insurance companies evaluate and defend injury claims and I know the tactics that they employ in an effort to minimize claim settlements or avoid paying them altogether.  As an attorney, I have spent the last 20 years practicing Personal Injury law and I have utilized my knowledge and experience as a former Insurance Claims professional to make sure that my clients always receive the best recovery attainable.  Many insurance companies will initially make unreasonably low settlement offers in an effort to take advantage of Personal Injury Law firms that operate as settlement mills. I do not practice in that manner and I actually litigate most of my Personal Injury cases.  The very first case that I took to trial resulted in a jury verdict well in excess of the defendant's Insurance Policy Limits.  Because the Insurance Company had been unreasonable with its settlement offers before trial, it ultimately had to pay out more than the defendant's Policy Limit.  I am always preapred to litigate a client's case if that's what it takes to secure a fair and just result.
