Mrs. Wood was hired for a separation situation where the custody of a child was involved. During the difficult and emotional times Corey was available to remind me to stay focused and on track to do the right thing, which isn't ever the easiest thing to do in these kinds of situations. Her work in my case was steadfast, extremely well thought out, and diligent. She remained professional in the court room while empathetic outside the court room. I'm proud to have worked with her and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again (but hopefully won't have to).
I have been working with Mrs. Wood for almost 5 years. She is very compassionate, loyal, hard working woman. She knows her job and does a great job. She is very quick to respond to any questions I may have and takes care of any concerns I might have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. She has gone above and beyond her job as a lawyer. She truly does care about the individual she is representing. Mrs. Wood is not only my lawyer but a friend and she will fight for you.
Corey’s legal practice centers on assisting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. She is both a problem solver and passionate advocate for her clients. She is a member of Collaborative Practice Vermont and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Child custody matter
Corey was able to help me get custody of my children and get them out of a bad situation. She is very straight forward, easy to talk too and understand! Anytime I needed to talk or meet with her, she was able to make that happen every time. I am very pleased with her confidence and representation. I highly recommend Corey Fitzpatrick Wood.
