Andy is the principal author of Critical Connections, published by Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA) (2000) and Wired for Profit - The Property Management Professional’s Guide to Capturing Opportunities in the Telecommunications Market, also published by BOMA (1998). While working as an engineer prior to law school, Andy was awarded two patents in laser diode design.

Andy graduated first in his class from Vermont Law School in 1989 (summa cum laude), where he was editor-in-chief of the Vermont Law Review and served as a member of the Vermont Law School Board of Trustees. He also holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in optical engineering from the University of Rochester. After graduating from law school, Andy served as a judicial law clerk for Justice John A. Dooley at the Vermont Supreme Court.
