Biography
Chris Lewis joined Hardy, Wolf & Downing in 2006 and is a partner and experienced trial attorney focused exclusively on personal injury cases. He represents individuals and families throughout Maine in serious injury and wrongful death matters, guiding clients through complex litigation with a practical, results-driven approach.
Chris earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2006 and his Bachelor of Arts from James Madison University in 1996. Before entering private practice, he worked as an analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he also attended the National Intelligence University and earned a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence (MSSI) in 2004.
A respected leader within the legal community, Chris has served on numerous boards and committees and is a past President of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA). He is also a longtime board member and former President of the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, reflecting his commitment to access to justice and public service.
Outside the courtroom, Chris spends his free time motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and boating with his family.
