Peter J. Cyr

1. He took on my case and did nothing that he claimed he would. 2. He charged me $2,500 to review my case file, clearly stating that that’s all it would cost. After I signed the engagement agreement he hit me up for another $1,700 claiming it was a misunderstand. 3. At my settlement conference, ...the judge hearing the matter stated she needed to disclose a potential conflict of interest, (giving me a choice to decide if a felt it may be a conflict). She stated that the plaintiffs attorneys firm was representing her husbands company in a lawsuit. I decided it was a conflict and was not willing to take the chance so I requested a new judge for another day. In front of the Plaintiffs attorney, his clients and the judge Cyr starts whining “your honor I tried to talk her out of it and he didn’t agree with me”. 4. I repeatedly kept asking when he was going to do as he promised with my case. He just stalled and would tell me he’d call me, set up a time and then never call. 5. After already paying him thousands of dollars he told me he wanted $25,000 as a retainer for trial. Mind you we were in a state of Covid, the courts weren’t hearing cases and had no indication as to when they’d proceed. As of today the court still isn’t hearing cases. 6. He eventually withdrew basically because I wouldn’t give him anymore money. In order to make it look like I was the bad guy, he and his office manager drew up fictitious bills claiming I owed them money. He would forget what he’d told me and get caught in his own lies.

Peter Cyr took $5,000 from me, did literally nothing on a post judgement action, then extorted me for another $5,000 to stay in the case. He then was combative, yelling at me in his office so loudly my underage daughter could hear his abuse while she sat in the waiting area downstairs. My daughter wa...s shaken by this experience and so was I. Peter Cyr was clearly unhinged not only professionally, but emotionally as well. Be suspicious of positive reviews. Stay away.

Communication was excellent. Returned calls, answered all my stupid questions promptly. Walked me through the whole process, every step of the way. He explained everything is terms that I could understand. Was upfront and honest about the money that it was going to cost. At the first consultation he ...gave me a price of worst case scenario that was almost spot on. I was expecting miracles but it's not what you see on tv. I chose to trust him and go alone with it and he knows what he's doing. To me it was a life changing experience. To him it was a routine case that he has done many many times. He was very easy to work with when it came to making payments. We had a clerical error in the billing and he was quick to fix the error. I will definitely use Peter in the future and will definitely recommend him to someone else.

I had a personal injury situation which another attorney would not touch. After discussing my situation with a member of Peter's staff, by phone, a meeting was arranged with Attorney Cyr, himself. He agreed to fight for me, being paid only if we were successful. He and his staff kept me informed t...he entire way, until I received an acceptable compensation for my injuries. I deeply appreciate what Pete did for me.
