Catherine C. Miller

Catherine C. Miller, Esq. is the Founder of MillerAsen, P.A., Maine's premier family law firm. 

Catherine is a graduate of Le Moyne College B.A. (1993) and the University of Maine School of Law, (J.D. 1997).  She was admitted in 1997 to Maine, New Hampshire, U.S. District Court, District of Maine and U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire.

Catherine is a member of the Maine State Bar Associations.  She formally served as a member of the Cape Elizabeth Zoning Board of Appeals, a Board Member to the Cleaves Law Library, Executive Board Member to the Maine Guardian ad Litem Institute, Maine State Bar Association Family Law Section (Chair), (Vice Chair), the Parent Coordination Legislative Subcommittee of Family Law Advisory Commission, a Board Member to the Thomas Memorial Library Foundation  and a volunteer supervising attorney at the Maine Lawyers Project Family Law Helpline.  She is also the former President of the Kids First Center.    Presently,  Catherine is  a Fellow with the American Academy of Matriomonial Lawyers and a member of the Maine Family Law Advisory Commission.

Catherine has presented on numerous topics pertaining to Family Law, including Marital Property (MSBA’s Family Law Institute, , Bridging the Gap, Spousal Support Seminar, and Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute. 

Over the past two decades, Catherine has continued her studies with issues pertaining to children and families, taxes, finances, alternative dispute resolution, and conflict management. She is trained in the Collaborative Law model, a registered Guardian ad Litem, and a Certified Mediator.
