We are extremely grateful we ended up going with Elsabeth McGohey. We also cannot believe we even considered going through our bankruptcy on our own. Elsabeth was always very prompt in all of our communication, and in our first meeting she laid out ALL of our options, and we did not feel any kind of ...pressure of burden from her whatsoever. She was extremely easy to talk to and was patient and understanding in listening to our whole story. Elsabeth was very detailed in receiving all the information that was required, which I now realize helped so much in making this transition so smooth. She was extremely organized with careful attention to detail, and was diligent in explaining every reason why she was doing what she did, which helped us feel included every step of the way. She also invited any questions we had and made everything very clear for us to understand. There were never any grey areas for us in this process; we're so glad that we never had to wonder about what she was doing. All of our paperwork was filed promptly and was thorough, though not tedious, thankfully. Any issues with any creditors or debt collectors that were out of bounds were taken care of right away. All the way up to the creditors meeting she kept in touch with us, to make sure there was nothing that would hinder the process. There are a lot of reasons I could recommend Elsabeth, but my wife and I really loved that she had such a great balance between being technically proficient in her legal knowledge and being human and compassionate. Being an internet research nut, I had done much research beforehand, and we felt completely secure with her ability and advice while also feeling that she was 100% trustworthy. We have had enough experience to know it's rare to get someone of high caliber and also at the same time "down to earth" enough to be able to advise you from a practical standpoint based on your needs. Wonderful attorney, we would for sure ask for her services again in a heartbeat (God forbid any unfortunate circumstances). Her smooth help and understanding during our difficult process relieved our family of so much stress. Thank you!!
