Attorney Richard A. Nunes was born and raised in Taunton where he graduated from Taunton High School in 1973. After receiving his B.A. degree from Bridgewater State College, he went to work for the House of Representatives at the State House in Boston in 1978, becoming the House Staff Director of the Committee on Insurance.
While working full-time, Attorney Nunes attended New England School of Law at night earning his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1985.
Attorney Nunes was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1985 and the U.S. District Court for Massachusetts in 1986.
After his admission to the bar, Attorney Nunes began practicing law, initially with the law firm of Aleixo, Miles, Murray & Rounds, P.C., and then, in 1995, successfully establishing his own practice where he continues today.
Attorney Richard A. Nunes concentrates in personal injury law, workers compensation, and criminal defense. In addition, he has valuable experience in many other areas of law, including landlord-tenant, wills, health care proxies, estates, and other probate matters.
