I hired Laurie to handle my divorce case. Laurie was highly recommended and exceeded my expectations. Laurie’s knowledge of the fine technical legalities surrounding all aspects of the divorce agreement is beyond reproach. Excellent, thoughtful advice

Laurie helped me tremendously during a very difficult time. She offered very sound, practical advice and was able to take a situation that seemed overwhelming to me, and made it much simpler and understandable. I have a lot of respect for her and would highly recommend her for legal advice and action.... The money was very well spent, and I truly appreciated her experience and personal integrity.

making divorce less difficult

After doing quite a bit of research I selected attorney Mullen to handle our mediated divorce. At our mediation, she was very knowledgeable and very clear on how to handle the division of assets. Fortunately we were already in agreement about most things, but she made sure we understood everythin...g. She had the legal paperwork ready quickly and accurately with directions on how and where to file. On the date of our hearing we watched several people ahead of us be turned away because of incomplete or incorrect information. The clerk told us we had made a good choice with Attorney Mullen and, after looking over our paperwork our divorce was granted quite quickly with no questions or problems. I was so pleased with the outcome, and the fact that we didn't have to spend large amounts off money to divorce. I would strongly recommend Laurie Mullen for anyone looking for a mediated divorce

Great Lawyer

this lawyer represented me in my divorce. she was very good and handled everything professionally. she always emailed me back, even late at night. i would use her again. she did charge a consultation fee but she provided a lot of information at the consultation and she takes the money off the retaine...r fee.

Not in best interest of clients

Laurie Mullen had represented me in my child custody case. This was a complex case and I feel that she misrepresented me. This lawyer charges a 100 dollar consultation fee. Most lawyers are free. I thought i was getting a very good lawyer. Well all she did for me was make deals with my exhusbands law...yer. All togerther the cost was nearly 4000 dollars for two days in court. Now I am having problems again with my ex husband and i knew i needed another lawyer. So i met with a new lawyer and he seems that my lawyer had gone down the wrong route. Ms Mullen was very judgemental and condesending.

I am very sorry that you were not happy with the services you received. Many times in delicate family matters attorneys work together to come up with solutions that work best for your family rather then have a judge make decisions based on very little information. Clients must sign the agreements in court so I never make any "deals" that the client is not aware of or do not approve. I take great issue with being called "untrustworthy" as, after 23 years of practice, I do not have one blemish on my record. I care greatly about my clients and my reputation.
