I have been a client of his for years and used him for both very serious criminal matters, and extremely delicate probate matters. He tells you exactly, how it is, doesn't sugar anything, and explains everything very well. He is always well prepared and gives 110%. He doesn't like to loose and is the type of guy who will loose sleep over your case. Not to mentuon he is vety well respected by judges and other attorneys. He got me a second chance when I didn't deserve one Overall he is a great stand up guy, excellent well practiced trial attorney, and expensive, but worth every penny he charges. Ask any attorney who practices in Bristol County, he will come highly recommend because, his experience is unfathomable.

Attorney Van Colen was very personable, respectful, knowledgeable and made me feel more at ease than when I walked in. He was direct and didn't sugar coat anything for me which proved he was honest and wanted me to be aware of all possible outcomes but that he would do his best to achieve the most favorable outcome for me, which he did do. If the need ever were to arise to need his services I would contact him without hesitation.

Ken was a very nice guy, and mostly got back to me when he could, but I wish I had done a little more research. Though he CAN practice family law, he mostly practices other law, and I don't feel like he handled my case that well and was just happy to get me through my divorce. I wouldn't recommend him for Family Law.
