A top attorney in Massachusetts

When I was looking for someone to help me with my legal matters, I talked to several top-notch lawyers. Each had their strengths, but none seemed very impressive. However, everything changed when I had a case evaluation with Michael. After talking with him for a while, I realized he was different. He... knew more about the laws than the others did. He carefully listened to what I was going through and gave me clear advice. It was like he had a detailed map of the law in his head and could quickly guide me on the right path using his experience and brilliance. Michael is very familiar with laws, and the way he applies his knowledge is remarkable. What stood out to me was how kind and attentive Michael was. While other lawyers seemed busy or distracted, Michael gave me his full attention every time we talked. It felt like he treated my problems as if they were his own. He wasn't just doing his job; he genuinely wanted to help. Lawyers sometimes use sneaky tactics, especially in divorce cases. But not Michael. He was always upfront with me. He is very honest, and I think this earns him a lot of respect in court. Because of his honesty and good reputation, people in courtrooms pay attention when he speaks. I also discovered that he's well-known in the legal community, and many lawyers in Massachusetts recognize Michael. He's not just famous; other lawyers genuinely respect him. I learned that he has led many lawyer gatherings, helping others to grow in their profession. That tells you just how good he is. If you're in Massachusetts and need a lawyer who is brilliant, knowledgeable, and genuine, I'd strongly recommend Michael Flores and his team. He's not just highly knowledgeable but is also dedicated to assisting his clients to the best of his ability.

Great advice and cares for his clients

I have been working with Michael on a complicated amendment to my divorce agreement and have found him to be amazing to work with. He is well prepared, intelligent, straightforward and only interested in doing what is right for his clients. He additionally does everything possible to make himself a...vailable when needed. Unlike other attorneys I have worked with, Michael is very thoughtful on how he spends your money. Given the opportunity I would have worked with Michael from day one and am fully confident that I would have secured a more favorable outcome. I would strongly recommend you have a discussion with Michael before choosing someone to represent you.

Do not divorce without Michael Flores by your side...

I am very serious when I recommend not divorcing without Attorney Michael Flores by your side...I did not begin the divorce journey with Flores from the outset but hired him to represent me after several years of custody litigation dragged on unsuccessfully while I was being represented by my origina...l attorney...knowing what I know now I would never again enter the courtroom without Flores...I personally learned why he is so well respected by his peers and the Family Court Judges here on Cape Cod...his knowledge of Massachusetts law is unparalleled. Flores listens, remembers the details, does the work, thinks things through, formulates multiple plans and keeps his word. Diligent is his middle name. He is thorough, organized and demonstrates solid documentation skills. His support staff is sharp, never dropped the ball and was always up to speed on what was going on in my case. My phone calls, emails and emergency situations were responded to immediately. Flores welcomed my constant questions, listened to my input and ideas and partnered with me. He is a true gentleman and his manner never failed to put me at ease---even in the stressful courtroom environment. That said, Flores is not timid in the courtroom and he always communicated his points across to the Judge in a strong, respectful, convincing and confident manner. He continually made me feel more secure when standing before that Judge's bench. But most of all, his compassion for my daughter, her situation and her best interest will always be the reason behind my sincerest gratitude toward him. Though you cannot ever anticipate the turns your divorce journey will take, with Michael Flores by your side you CAN count on the strongest and most diligent preparation and representation to steer you through it all with success...

Legal Representation with Compassion

I was represented by Michael Flores during what I had hoped to be a simple Divorce. After originally having another Attorney who was dragging out the process with out any results. I was so pleased when Michael took over my case and moved it forward quickly. With each individual situation that oppo...sing council presented during the legal process, child support, distribution of assets, alimony, I was always confident that Michael would keep to the letter of the Law and be my voice. He always took the time to explain each motion or judgement that was presented to me in terms that someone other then an Attorney can understand. Michael made himself available to answer any question and address them quickly. When council for my ex husband felt the need to try and bully or push me. Michael pushed back and always kept my best interest first. When going into court with Michael Flores as your Attorney you can be sure that he will show up prepared for your case, armed with experience, knowledge of Massachusetts Law and ready to address each issue and negotiate a settlement on the spot if need be. You will always be provided with a high level of professionalism in his office or in the court room.

Unprecedented focus and dedication

After completing the review process I outline below, I knew that Michael I. Flores was the attorney I needed to represent me in my 2012 divorce. When looking for an outstanding divorce attorney, one should look at three areas: (1) Knowledge of the divorce laws in your state, (2) Respect by peer atto...rneys, and (3) Respect of the Judges. Michael I. Flores was recommended to me by an attorney friend that practices in the estate part of the law business. However, prior to engaging Michael’s services I began with research on #1 above, his knowledge. Michael is a Fellow in the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and a former president of the Barnstable County Bar. He not only thoroughly understands the divorce laws, he conducts training and teaching sessions on various facets of the law for other divorce attorneys throughout Massachusetts. For #2 above, I interviewed several (more than 4) divorce attorneys in my search for the best representative for me. I concluded each interview by asking the following question, “other than themselves who would they hire as a divorce attorney”? Michael’s name came up each and every time I questioned a peer. Finally, I was able to determine that Michael is respected by the judges where he must argue his cases. What are these areas important? The knowledge is obvious; however, what is less obvious is the respect of his peers. Because Michael has a reputation for being prepared, professional, level headed and a man of his word, his peers know that he will not play games. This saves time when negotiating on your behalf, reducing the back and forth exchange of paper that sometimes accompanies contentious cases. Michael is extremely comfortable appearing in front of a judge and has their respect. This is critical both in negotiated settlements and if you should go to trial. The judges know that if Michael is bringing an issue forward or is standing firm it is for good reason. Judges too quickly identify those attorney’s that play games or claim the sky is falling regardless of the issue. Michael is comfortable preparing for and going to trial, however, he is reasonable if a settlement is the best option. Michael will give you the straightforward facts, even if they are not what you want to hear. He will inform you if your expectations are unrealistic and advise you to reconsider. Finally, with unprecedented focus and dedication, Michael will provide you with a professional and sustained superior effort, going above and beyond what is expected.
