Michael grew up on Cape Cod and graduated from Cape Cod Academy. He moved to Florida and attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg where he obtained a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
Michael graduated from Vermont Law School and began his legal career in Florida. He worked from the judicial perspective as a Trial Court Staff Attorney and performed extensive legal research and drafted judicial orders and opinions for Circuit Court Judges. He then began practicing law as a litigation associate with a firm in Gainesville, Florida. He developed significant litigation experience in diverse areas of law including personal injury, real property, business, and commercial and residential landlord/tenant.
In May 2010, Michael joined the law firm, Dell Graham, P.A. and focused his practice in the areas of commercial and general civil litigation, personal injury, real estate, and insurance defense. He gained extensive experience defending government entities and agencies against all claims including employment matters based on gender, age, and racial discrimination.
It is with gratitude and appreciation for his past legal opportunities and experiences that he now returns to Massachusetts to establish Pierce Law. Michael is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Florida. He is excited to bring passion, dedication, and experience to serve the legal needs of individuals and businesses throughout Massachusetts.
Michael and his wife Emalee, with their children Luke and Betsy, live in Sandwich, Massachusetts. They enjoy spending time together as a family, especially outdoors. Some of their favorite activities are camping, fishing, canoeing, and spending time on the beach.
