I reached out to this lawyer regarding my employment situation, leaving a message for her. Within a couple of hours, she promptly returned my call and scheduled a lengthy online meeting with me. During our discussion, she took the time to thoroughly understand my case and reviewed some of my key docu...ments without charging any fees, demonstrating her genuine interest in assisting me. Although she ultimately decided not to take on my case, she displayed a high level of professionalism and dedication by carefully listening to my case details. Additionally, she generously assisted me in amending my MCAD complaint free of charge and provided valuable guidance and support during multiple phone consultations, despite not representing me formally. In my experience, this lawyer exemplifies generosity, kindness, and extensive legal expertise. Her honesty and integrity are commendable, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services. Although she did not take my case, I hold her in high regard and believe she would have been an exceptional advocate. I sincerely wish she had been able to represent me.

She provided me excellent, immediately-actionable advice with numerous helpful suggestions to protect myself. She was warm and generous with her time a...nd ideas. I hired Lana in 2015 to assist me in a legal dispute I filed a year later with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination aka MCAD.. I am so fortunate that I selected her as my representative in my legal dispute over termination from a prior job. She handled a complex case from a huge bank, ...that had thousands of emails, and documents, graphs and research during a brutal discovery with years of deposotions. She discovered the discrepancies with the defenses approach, highlighted when the transcripts of defense witnesses testified to matters that would be seen as false statements when compared to bank emails and communications in discovery. She during this period of time, did make a change from Newton Law Firm to work independently. Lana was personable and real as a lawyer, and cared and devoted sleepless nights preparing for this case. During the summary judgement period of time in 2019 the Suffolk County Superior Court had favored with Lana and myself the plaintiff that we are granted a trial by jury. My favorite judge summary judgment to trial granted statement was" business played a manipulative shell game to hide the discriminatory intent". I was awarded trial, therefore a settlement where they are finally being serious about money happens for close to a half million was agreed upon. And since their was a non disclosure agreement for the defense to protect their reputation, that's why this explanation is vague. Lana works with her client to brainstorm strategies even if it means further discussion over phone several evenings. Lana was an incredible lawyer and if I selected someone else, I may have never basicly won my case, as much as it was settled, was because she defeated them and got a trial they should have lost anyway. Her legal opponent is on some Super Lawyer recognition. Thing is I'm a transgender women, and it certainly was a great client to lawyer chemistry. She listens, and knows how to defend her client and find the flaws in the defense. 110% worth atleast a consultation.

I contacted Lana for my employment case and she carefully listened to my case for two hours over the phone and asked me to send some of my documentations for her assessment. She basically did all these things for free and could find out the issues and legal avenue. Unfortunately I could not hire her... immediately because of a new change in my job situation, however I found her a lawyer who really considers first priority for her client and ready to fight hard for her client. At some point later, I contacted her to take my case but she was busy and I hired a lawyer from the Super lawyer list. I can not compare Lana's great performance with my lawyer. I fired my lawyer.
