Lana Sullivan

I hired Lana in 2015 to assist me in a legal dispute I filed a year later with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination aka MCAD.. I am so fortunate that I selected her as my representative in my legal dispute over termination from a prior job. She handled a complex case from a huge bank, ...that had thousands of emails, and documents, graphs and research during a brutal discovery with years of deposotions. She discovered the discrepancies with the defenses approach, highlighted when the transcripts of defense witnesses testified to matters that would be seen as false statements when compared to bank emails and communications in discovery. She during this period of time, did make a change from Newton Law Firm to work independently. Lana was personable and real as a lawyer, and cared and devoted sleepless nights preparing for this case. During the summary judgement period of time in 2019 the Suffolk County Superior Court had favored with Lana and myself the plaintiff that we are granted a trial by jury. My favorite judge summary judgment to trial granted statement was" business played a manipulative shell game to hide the discriminatory intent". I was awarded trial, therefore a settlement where they are finally being serious about money happens for close to a half million was agreed upon. And since their was a non disclosure agreement for the defense to protect their reputation, that's why this explanation is vague. Lana works with her client to brainstorm strategies even if it means further discussion over phone several evenings. Lana was an incredible lawyer and if I selected someone else, I may have never basicly won my case, as much as it was settled, was because she defeated them and got a trial they should have lost anyway. Her legal opponent is on some Super Lawyer recognition. Thing is I'm a transgender women, and it certainly was a great client to lawyer chemistry. She listens, and knows how to defend her client and find the flaws in the defense. 110% worth atleast a consultation.
