Steven S. Bloom

Steven S. Bloom, Esq. has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1985 and was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for  the District of Massachusetts in 1986.  He has been licensed to practice in the State of Rhode Island since 1988.  Mr. Bloom  practices in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury law, contract law, discrimination law, business and corporate law, employment discrimination law, restaurant acquisitions, worker's compensation and the trial of civil  cases.  Attorney Bloom also practices real estate law, which comprises a significant portion of his practice.  He has represented numerous banks, lending institutions, buyers and sellers  in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has a special interest and concentration in affordable housing matters. Attorney Bloom is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker and approved title insurance agent with two (2) major title insurance companies.  He is a frequent lecturer and teacher of the first time home buyers' classes offered by the City of Cambridge, as well as by several non-profit groups. 

Mr. Bloom also handles corporate and business matters, including the start-up and acquisition of businesses. He is a published author in the field of worker's compensation and speaks some Spanish.  He has been a guest lecturer at a major Boston hospital on the topic of medical malpractice. He has also lectured at a local nursing home on the topics of nursing home medical malpractice, patient care and patient's rights.  As of January 1, 2000, Steven S. Bloom, Esq. became the sole equity owner of and senior attorney at Cushner & Bloom, P.C.
