Attorney Redmond helped me with a claim against a landlord and property owner. The case went on for a number of years. The defendants were very stubborn. She was calm and collected and followed the case through to the end. The defendants did not cave in until just before trial. We obtained a great settlement.
I met with Ms. Redmond briefly after speaking with her on the phone in reference to an incident that happened to me and my husband and we signed a contract to move forward. The next thing I got was an email from her 3 days before a scheduled court date stating she was declining to take my case. My husband and I live 1,400 miles out of state and it left us with no representation for the court date and on top of that when we asked her for her reasons as to why she had done that, she made outrageous statements that I found very offensive and way off base. I found her unprofessional and way out of line. She met with me for under an hour and during that small period of time I experienced a bit of reverse racism on her behalf but I had dismissed it until her actions and statements made it very clear that indeed was the case. I would not recommend her for any reason as she is unprofessional and left us 1,400 miles away with no attorney or representation for our court date and again she was way out of line with the outrageous and slanderous statements she made. I was very disappointed to say the least considering she is considered a civil rights attorney but I guess only certain people are worthy of civil rights..................

This client's check bounced. I was not willing to give her free legal representation.
