Biography
I counsel clients on a full range of commercial real estate matters. In addition, I emphasize structuring solutions to complex project development and financing challenges, including the redevelopment and financing of contaminated properties. I regularly appear before Planning Boards, Boards of Appeal and other regulatory and land use bodies. I have lectured and taught on land use regulation and environmental law at numerous law schools and have served as an adjunct counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works.
My environmental practice includes matters related to site remediation, brownfields, environmental insurance underwriting, wetlands, Chapter 91 Waterways Licensing, solid waste composting and transfer stations, and MEPA. I also represent clients in cost recovery actions, federal, state and local enforcement and compliance matters.
