Attorney Wayne, is a wealth of knowledge as a criminal defence Attorney. I had a very complex case that not only has never been tried in Massachusetts, but there was 0 case law in the United States concerning such a difficult and complex case! She went way over and above to defend me. From hiring a b...rilliant expert to the respect she has within both district and superior courts with everyone from the prosecutors all the way to the judge's truly had a positive effect on my case. What makes Attorney Wayne different from other criminal defence Attorneys, is that she truly cares, when we hit a road block in my case she navigated around it, when I needed to speak to her, she got right back to me, even at night or on a Sunday she never ignored even one of my requests to speak with her. I could have never got through this case without her. More importantly I know I would have never come out of the long complex "Landmark" case on the winning end without her. I'm from Florida and was in need of an attorney for my brother who's past caught up with him. Ms. Karen J. Wayne was recommended by the courthouse in Quincy, Mass. when I called inquiring about his situation. Ms Wayne represented me for a would-be DUI-2nd offense. Over the course of 12-13 months,I was able to call her (usually during office hours)to discuss facts of the case,any upcoming hearings and also outcomes if the case went any which way. She would promptly respond within a couple minutes,or text t...o notify if she was busy and had to reschedule for later. If the matter was slightly complicated and needed more time to discuss,she was also available over the weekends,I thought that to be very considerate.Professionally while also being realistic,she would clearly explain our position and what we needed to do. Also,when hearings were due,her and her team would send out a professional letter giving you dates and times as a reminder. For this case,we took it to trial.There I witnessed Ms Wayne's prowess in legal matters. She asked relevant questions ,reviewed every section of reports gotten from the prosecution(regardless if the facts seemed obvious) and above all was very patient. In the times when proceedings were not in session,she sat with me and in an easy-to-understand way, explained what our best options were and also what we up against. After a whole day on trial and to put it calmly,the case got promptly dismissed. Also to mention,I lived in a different state and had a full-time job making it difficult to travel back and forth for a 5-minute hearing;she clearly advised me on what to do,and in the end didn't have to travel. Ms Wayne not only provided a proper legal defense,she also gave me great advice on how not to find myself in that position again. She is professional yet realistic.
