Daniel Occena

Attorney Occena is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Connecticut, and admitted to the Federal District Courts of Massachusetts. Daniel’s legal experience began while working for one of the fastest growing social security disability law firms in the United States. Currently he sits on the Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyer Referral Committee, and in his spare time he does a significant amount of volunteer work for Neighborhood Legal Services, as well as the MBA Dial-a-Lawyer Program. Attorney Occena earned a Jurist Doctorate Degree from Massachusetts School of Law, and received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a minor in Public Law from Alfred University. He is a Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, National Lawyers Guild and National Organizations of Social Security Claimant Representatives.

Attorney Occena is supported by a talented group of people who handle the day to day affairs of Occena Law. Katherine Yniguez oversees the operational affairs of Occena Law. With her strong background in office management, she is responsible for ensuring our process is efficient, our service is practical, and lastly all employees of Occena understand our core values and the service we strive to provide.

Nathaly Farfan, legal assistant, manages all the administrative needs of the office. She assist clients with all social security applications, appeals and denials. Ms. Farfan also facilitates all client communications, including but limited to, case status, trial preparation and general client support.
