Recently, I had an opportunity to refer Todd a civil litigation matter involving a dispute against an insurance company. I was very impressed with Todd's preparation, including the way he handled cross examination of experienced witnesses, such as insurance company personnel and an expert witness fo...r the insurance company. Through Todd's efforts, the client was able to obtain a much more favorable result than she otherwise would have been able to. Todd was introduced to me because I wanted fill a counter claim, I was very upset that Todd never read my case carefully , he even did not understand the relationship between the concern parties after several meetings with me, and repeatedly asked the questions which I have explained many times. He... has a lady assistant in his office, I do not understand why he arranged his friend from another law firm as his second assistant for my case, he called his friend attending our every meeting, then, I will received two bills for each meeting from two firms, that means I need to pay three attorneys for each meeting (himself ,his assistant in his office, his assistant from another firm), even so, he still could not understand my story and my request, I never mean he is not smart, I am sure he did not spend reasonable time to study my case. And his friend assistant, even could not answer my only question, which is very simple and was answered by my later attorney instantly. Finally, after I paid him more than $20,000, I left him and went to another law firm, which helped me win my case.
