Curt F Bletzer

Curt brings significant civil litigation experience to the firm. He has advocated for both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, including trials and motions. His well-developed negotiating skills have helped clients realize their goals for over twenty years.

Curt is responsible for the firm’s thriving probate, divorce and family law practice and is very active in zoning and land use issues. He is an aggressive litigator whose extensive courtroom experience enables him to zealously represent his clients in both courtroom and administrative settings.

Curt also oversees Bletzer & Bletzer’s dynamic real estate practice. He possesses significant real estate experience and is a registered agent of numerous title insurance companies. He is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts. As a result of this experience, Curt and the firm are able to serve their clients’ every real estate need.

Curt also represents numerous clients in the areas of criminal law. Prior to joining Bletzer & Bletzer in 1990, he had a successful career as an Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County from 1988 to 1990. While in the DA’s office, Curt’s tried numerous cases and served as a member of the Homicide Response Team.

While enrolled at Boston College Law School, Curt began coaching Varsity Football at Boston College. He coached the linebackers under Head Coach Jack Bicknell from 1985 until 1990. Curt was also a Past President and is currently an Executive Board Member of the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston. He is a member of the Benevolent Association of Elks and serves the community in his role as a Past President of the Brighton Board of Trade.

Curt was born and raised in Brighton, MA and graduated from Boston Latin School. He is married to the former Kimberly Young and resides in Medfield, MA with his wife and three children, Caleigh, Kevin and Curt.
