I spoke to several attorneys about creating an estate plan for my special circumstances. Faiza Chaudhry greatly exceeded my expectations during our initial consultation with a very thorough and easy to understand whiteboard presentation. Although I had a good idea of what I wanted to achieve, Faiza... provided great insight into unforeseen circumstances for blended families. I thought this would be so complicated, but she made it seem quite simple. The drafting of my estate plan was an iterative process and the changes made were always accurately updated and quickly returned for my review. I felt I always received prompt responses to my questions. Even modifying the deeds to my properties and updating our financial account registrations was a simple process. I would highly recommend Faiza and use her again for future estate issues.

I had a great experience with everyone at O'Connell Law except the attorney with whom I worked on my estate planning, Faiza Chaudhry. She was cheerful, energetic, communicative, and clear about the process, but she make frequent errors and never acknowledged her errors, much less apologized for them.... On the contrary, I often felt that she tried to make me responsible for her errors. Her errors included substantive changes or omissions and confusions between different sections of the Living Trust. Yes, I had a significant confusion 2 weeks before we finalized the documents, but I immediately acknowledged and understood my mistake. The last two weeks were the most torturous. One draft after the other came back with mistakes such that I feared we would never have a final draft. Mercifully, we did. The other point I would make is that I think O'Connell should wait to charge clients the final payment, perhaps the final 1/3, until after the final, signed documents are provided. Despite the incredibly lengthy, agonizing process, I am very glad to have the documents completed.

My Estate Plan had been prepared by another company but wanted to have it checked. It turns out that it was not complete and mistakes had been made.
