Unprofessional Law firm

he worst decision of my life was to hire This law firm and especially attorney Amy to represent me at the most crucial case of my life. I would grade attorney Amy as low achievers whose primary focus is her financial interest rather than fighting justice for you. Her moto - maximum billing with ...minimum work. In addition, I found attorney Amy as someone whose attention span is low and struggles to remember details and even will tremble in the court room against opposing counsel.( I have first hand experience of this). She lied to me and backed out from her words on multiple occasions. she even contradicted herself over email. When i pointed it out she stopped responding. Finally when I realized that she has no conscious I fired her and thank God that I was able to find a new able attorney who worked hard and got me justice. It is my prime duty to publish her report card and let you all decide in a scale of 10 , 10 being highest : Integrity 0/10 , Honesty 0/10, Truthful (0/10) , billing ( Double or misleading entries) ( 3/10) . Professionalism 2/10. In case you end up hiring her then I would suggest to keep the following in mind: 1. If She calls you while she is driving ( she usually calls while driving because she want to make money while she is driving) then cover the conversation over email and ensure that she does not charge you for the reading of email or tell her that you will talk only when you have her full attention. 2.Docuemnt each and every conversation over email - do not rely on her verbal suggestions or commitments, as she will deny it if needed throwing you under the bus. 3. do your own research of the process and ( do not trust what she says) ask her questions and request an email as her response. 4. Keep log of every call and email you send and cross verify the bill ( every month) as you might see multiple duplicate entries, also these entries could appear few months down the line- Tell her that you would be recording conversations for your records. 5. Her office will always connect with you at the last hour for information, please make it clear that you need few days to give them information before the court date. 6.Before hiring her ask for the data of how many case she have won v/s settled in last 5 years. if you bring this review with her and she tries to tell you a story then tell her that why don't you have a public debate with this person as i will be more than happy to have a public debate as why i am posting this review. I hope this review helps you in finding what you are looking for . @dadforjustice1

They haven't fixed my issue yet

I honestly waited a long time to post this. I had a very simple issue and they were unable to fix it. After 3 months of my first visit to this office they have done basically nothing. They have no time to spend on each case, they don't have enough people to take care of the cases and you have to foll...ow up because they never contact you except to send you your bill. Oh that you will definitely get on time.

Devastated by Amy Huffs Incompetence

Amy Huff was hired to help in my divorce after assuring me she could handle the forensic accounting aspects of my case. I had high hopes when Amy promised she could help me through the trauma of my divorce. She spent several hours on the phone during our initial consultation comforting and reassuring... me of how hard she would fight for my son and me. After sending in a $15,000 retainer my contact with Amy was phone conversations explaining how hard she was working for us and always ending the phone call with how much more money I was to send. $55,000 later, money I had to borrow from a friend, I realized that Amy had been more interested in her upcoming wedding than providing me with proper representation. The result was me asking the head of the firm for new council. My advice is to beware of this attorney who offers nothing but empty promises and leaves you destitute. My case was left by Amy Huff in such a mess that I ended up worse off financially then when we started.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Attorney Huff Harris to be an exemplary family law practitioner--someone who fights tooth and nail for her clients. Attorney Huff Harris is very knowledgeable and highly skilled in negotiating and trying issues involving custody, child support, alimony, property division, contempt, modifications, and many other legal enclaves. You will also find her fees to be extremely reasonable compared to others in the industry with comparable experience. It is clearly important to Amy that regular folks are able to afford a quality attorney's services. Finally, her value is also realized in her ability to provide sound practical advice to her clients. Amy often resolves client conflicts by crafting creative solutions which she carefully weighs so to protect her clients, their loved ones, and their wallet."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. I opposed Amy on one of her first cases. I thought her to be fair yet zealous in representing her client. Subsequently I have had occassion to discuss cases with her and I am impressed with her dedication and professionalism. She can evaluate a case realistically and represent her client's interests vigorously."

Relationship: Co-worker

"When I first met Amy Huff, she spoke of how passionate she is towards "fathers' rights." While it sounded good in theory, I had not seen the action behind those words. Now, almost a full year later, I can tell you that Amy Huff is the LAST LAWYER I would want on the other side of a case. While she is reasonable and insists on nothing less than a 50-50 settlement, when she doesn't get what she wants, she has such a ferocious reputation in court that we've heard that she is known as "Jaws" in the different courtrooms in Mass. -- especially when she represents fathers."
