I recently purchased a single family home and had retained Ryan Cunningham, Esq. of the David Marshall Dat, PC office for this purchase. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable about real estate. I could not have felt safer about signing off on documents regarding the purchase without him. He made sure th...at I was well protected throughout the process and translated all of the legal jargon to plain English for me. I was always told to "get your own lawyer" whenever I finally decided to buy my first home; Now that I purchased my first home alongside Ryan, I will tell everyone "DON'T buy a home if you didn't first retain Ryan". I am still beyond belief that I am a homeowner now and I could not have done it so seamlessly without Ryan Cunningham, Esq. representing me!

Ryan has been our attorney for the purchase of a home and multiple refinance transactions. His attention to detail, thoughtful guidance, and commitment to his clients is second to none! I cant believe its taken me so long to write this review, but moving is a stressful time, and I kept pushing it off because I wanted to take the time to write the review that Ryan deserves. It would take pages to explain everything Ryan helped us with, but in short, we would not be in this house with...out him. Our home buying process was more complicated than anyone else’s I have talked to before or since, and that complication was amplified to the extreme during the Covid crisis. Ryan went above and beyond his traditional role to help us secure our home in a fair and equitable way. He was always available for a phone call, even late in the evening, and he explained everything in great detail to make sure we understood it before moving forward. He handled each complication with speed and competence, and made sure we were protected from risk as much as possible. I would (and have) recommended him to my friends looking to buy homes. We literally could not have done this without him.

We have worked with Ryan on 4 real estate transactions in the last few years. There is a reason we keep going back to him, he makes it as seamless and easy as possible. He explains things simply and answers every question. Ryan reduces stress by making sure things are squared away right from the get ...go (P&S). He doesn’t stress out his clients. He handles the negotiation with the other sides attorney and you’ll never know the stress and aggravation he handles for you. Having seen some of the contracts come from the other side, I hope those attorneys aren’t charging. Ryan doesn’t use the state’s cookie cutter contract, his contracts protect his clients. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ryan.
