Biography
Andrea's litigation practice focuses on employment law, probate and trust litigation and tort litigation. She has extensive experience in product liability litigation and the defense of electric utilities in complex liability cases. Andrea has successfully tried cases in both state and federal courts and has appeared extensively before administrative agencies including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. She has argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Andrea is a 1976 cum laude graduate of Smith College and a 1987 magna cum laude graduate of Boston College Law School. She also holds a Masters in Social Work from New York University. Since 2004, Law and Politics has recognized Andrea as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in its annual list published in Boston Magazine. Only 5% of the lawyers in Massachusetts are awarded that designation. Since 2013, Andrea has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, a highly esteemed, national peer review guide of attorneys.
