The buck stops here!

Richard Costa was highly recommended by someone I know, and likewise will now continue to be recommended by me. Before hiring Costa & Riccio Law, I had hired another firm (through a list of attorneys provided by my country’s consulate) to take care of my immigration residency petition after marryi...ng a US resident. My petition was stuck for six years, while the aforementioned lawyer received full payment, but did absolutely nothing about my case. When I met with Richard (mid-2011) he was very straightforward from the get-go, and most importantly, he didn’t sugarcoat the intricacies that made my case challenging: my petition was jurassically old, and to boot, I was separated from my then estranged husband, who was my sponsor. Richard skillfully assessed the pros and cons while cogitating possible outcomes, and he listened to my concerns open-mindedly; even in times when I considered going against his recommendation. He is knowledgeable, accessible, quick-witted, and very personable. I also had a chance to work with Ellen Davey-Fleming and Kate Schlegel, who are equally proficient, sophisticated, and affable. My petition was approved on the spot immediately after my interview, and I got a ten-year greencard when most people are granted a two-year one. Five years from now Costa & Riccio Law will be hearing from me again, as I’ll finally be eligible for citizenship.

Exceptional Attorney

I did my green card application through Richard Costa. He has extensive experience and in-depth knowledge about the immigration laws. He is very supportive, trustworthy and I always felt 100% confident that he would take care of my application and he did. He has a great team and all of them were wond...erful, friendly and always available when I had questions. They did a very neat and thorough job and handled my case in a professional and extremely efficient way. I sincerely thank them for their expert guidance in my green card application process. I had a great experience working with them and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Great and caring professional

Richard is an extremely knowledgeable lawyer, with long experience in immigration matters, competent and truly caring. Richard worked with me to lift the conditions on my J1 visa, to file for a green card, to lift the conditions on my green card, and through my citizenship procedure. During all those... 8 years, I felt I had professional and human support of the highest possible quality, while paying reasonable prices. I consider myself lucky to have found such a competent and supportive lawyer. I recommend Richard without any reservations!

The best immigration lawyer in Beantown

Richard is the best immigration attorney in Beantown without a question. I initially contacted him 3 years ago based on recommendation from my friend as I was in the process of switching jobs and wanted a second opinion. Not only Richard was extremely helpful in spotting an error in my green card app...lication, something that company-paid attorney overlooked, he also did not charge me for the consultation. As a result of his involvement the error was corrected and my application was expedited saving me several years of waiting. I recently contacted him with another immigration question and Richard proved again invaluable and extremely knowledgable. Richard has always been a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend his services.

Great Lawyer!

Richard Costa is an extremely competent lawyer. Besides being a knowledgeable and excellent lawyer, Richard Costa has another very strong quality in that he is a very caring and supportive person. Before learning about Richard Costa, I contacted several other lawyers and no one would give me advice o...n the phone for free. However, the minute I contacted Richard, without knowing or caring if I was going to hire his services for sure, he gave me all the attention I needed and answered all my questions. When I was finally ready to hire a lawyer, I did not hesitate to contact Richard and engage his services. I was absolutely right that he would be the most helpful and competent lawyer. He was extremely wonderful and helped me so much first with my work visa (H1B-visa) and then with my green card process!
