Peter G. Calabrese

Mr. Calabrese represented the building management company that we hired to rent out our property in Beverly. MA. When that company treated the property poorly and we called them on it, they would only respond to us through Mr. Calabrese. He specifically told us that repairs would be performed, that... we would receive compensation for broken items, etc. None of these things that HE proposed happened and when I tried to call him several times to discuss, he never took my call or returned the call. I was totally willing to work with him on this but he just ignored the whole thing. Beware.....talks a good game but overall is just a dishonest individual.

This review is not based on sour grapes or lack of getting what I wanted. So, that being said, this review is based purely on the advise that I received and how this firm failed to do their job. The only tangible thing that I received from my dealings with them was an invoice totally more than $6000.... I was told that I had a case in a condo matter. I was told that I should continue the case regardless of the fact that I was selling it. It put the sale at risk, and they said it was all on the closing attorney to fix and not them. The only explanation is that they are completely inept and do not know the laws regarding real estate, they didn't wish to follow through or they were leading me on just to rack up the hours. I did speak with another attorney after this and they said that I was given bad advise and that it was, in fact up to Peter and his team to deal with the lender to savage the sale. However, the other attorney also told me that he never would have told me to continue pursuing the case once I put the condo up for sale. I would not under any circumstances recommend Peter or his firm.

Peter and his associates were always professional, supportive and educational in my case. I had a difficult tenant landlord matter, which was very uncomfortable for me. Peter always made me feel at ease in sharing my thoughts and concerns. Peter always gave support and insight on every sit...uation we have had to deal with. He is a very calm individual no matter how difficult the matter seemed to me.. Peter truly cares about his clients and this was evident to me in regards to my ligation. He fought hard for me, which has produced a justified settlement so far in my case. I highly recommend Peter Calabrese and his firm. I will continue to turn to him for all my legal needs now and in the future.
