I used John Hoffman as my lawyer for a divorce where I was trying to move out of state with my daughter. I initially had a different law firm where they said it was impossible as my ex contested. I am so grateful that I was given Johns name as a recommendation through a friend and switched firms. Thankfully, Attorney Hoffman was completely unfazed by this dance, and responded to every incendiary remark with class and professionalism. Only a highly skilled, patient and intelligent litigator and communicator could lure this style of opponent into peaceful negotiations and author an agreement that ultimately benefited me and my boys. As I write this review and look back on Attorney Hoffman’s role in my life, I realize his hard work and heartfelt direction have given me the foundation to look forward. That is priceless. At one point I remember he called me to congratulate me on defending myself and said, “Whoever you were before this marriage, well, she’s back!!” I am. Attorney Hoffman handled my divorce (which ended up in a trial) and then represented me in a post-divorce modification (which also ended up in a trial). I cannot say enough good things about Attorney Hoffman, and truly could not happier with his work and the results. He has many years of experience... and is really an expert.
