I help elders, the disabled, and their families to unravel all the confusing, conflicting issues they face and bring order into their lives. I determine how to stretch out their financial resources to keep them in their own homes for as long as possible. I put into place the many legal tools that will protect them and their families now and in the future.
In addition, I put the families in touch with allied professionals who help sort out non-legal aspects of elder care, such as geriatric care managers, professional organizers, and Alzheimer's coaches. Most importantly, I take many of the burdens and conflicts out of the family dynamics and allow people to again simply enjoy spending time together.
You will see below that I attended Vermont Law School - the premier environmental law school in the nation - intent on saving the Massachusetts coastline. One thing led to another, and now I am much happier working with elders, the disabled, and their families, to get their affairs in order and put their minds at ease.

Relationship: Friend
I have known Alexis for many years as a colleague and a friend, and most recently she assisted my mother-in-law with her estate planning. She is thoughtful, kind, thorough, and patient - all qualities which are critical to her area of practice and clientele. Alexis is also generous with her time as a colleague - I can always rely on her to help me with estate-and elder-law questions and information for my clients. I wholeheartedly endorse her.
