Fair and balanced

Pat performed the role of mediator and prepared our divorce/separation agreement. She has command of the laws and issues and presents them in a clear and concise way. I think she treated each party fairly and help negotiate a solid agreement.

Divorce mediator par excellence

Pat assisted my (ex)wife and myself with mediation leading up to our divorce proceedings. She was enormously insightful, and made an otherwise emotionally draining process one that we could both negotiate with a minimum of angst. I would recommend her highly to anyone in a similar situation.

An excellent mediator

Pat handled our divorce mediation this past year. Even though we were in agreement over most details she was an impartial voice of reason when we needed it. She was extremely professional yet I felt like I was sitting down with a friend at each of our meetings. She is very knowledgeable and explai...ned things in simple, understandable terms. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to dissolve a marriage in the friendliest way possible.

Excellent divorce mediator in Newburyport

Patricia Watson was my divorce mediator. She was professional, impartial, knows the law, and has done this a bazillion times before, all of which was very comforting. She was quick to point out when ex and I were interrupting each other, or seemed to be edging toward the irrational nutball zone.... Oopsie. She had tissues ready for when, realizing that hand and tooth homicide in an attorneys office would not be the most intelligent choice, I lost all composure and dribbled all over everything. Out of my eyes, I mean. She reminded us frequently that the reason we were doing this and not getting involved in some doubly contentious bullshit was the good of the kids. And she kept good humor through it all. I get the impression she's pretty much seen it all. I hope to all that is good and holy I never ever have to go through a divorce again. . . .but if I did and needed a mediator. . . .yeah, I'd call her. The office is in Newburyport, right down town, so if you need to wander about gathering your thoughts like daisies after a stressful meeting. . . .it's kind of nice.
