Matters with education are frustrating and confusing. You have very little power or insight into the inner workings of the school system and think if you go along with the processes your kids will be fine. This is not the case, you need someone who knows how to get the school meet their responsibil...ities. Our son stuggled for years with ADHD and the school knew it, but took no special action until he was facing expulsion - way too late. Different officials at the school had different stories of what his status was, how we need to proceed and what was next. We finally had enough and found Laura, and we should have sooner.
