Biography
Erin practices in all areas of family law, including divorce, paternity, adoptions, guardianships of minors, modifications and contempts, drafts pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and is experienced in custody cases involving contact resistance and alienation, substance abuse, physical and sexual abuse. Erin also handles guardianships and conservatorships of adults. Erin graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2003. Her goal is to help her clients to feel confident, in control, and unburdened through their work together.
Erin began her legal career as Law Clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court of Massachusetts. She is engaged in a range of civil legal matters, including medical malpractice, personal injury and probate disputes.
Prior to attending law school, Attorney Nielson worked in the field of refugee resettlement, overseeing a staff of social workers providing services to refugee families from around the world. In addition to her J.D., Attorney Nielson holds a Master's Degree in Intercultural Management and Sustainable Development from the School for International Training. Attorney Nielson's history in social services has proved a beneficial background for her law practice. Erin is a strong advocate with the sensitivity to guide her clients through troubling times with compassion.
