My divorce was not contentious, but I needed someone to look out for MY interests, after my now-Ex retained a lawyer and tried to pass him off as a mediator. I don't think there was any mal-intent going on, but I needed to make sure MY interests were being preserved. She listened to my desired go...als, where I thought there could be some negotiations, and she handled it from there. It's a stressful time, and was glad she was there to help me through it all.
