Attorney Maria Lockhart is honestly hands down the most amazing people who you could ever meet!! I'm 40 years old and have a career in nursing!! I've never been in trouble before and because of a crazy situation ended up facing a felony and two misdemeanors! Somehow I was lucky enough to be a court-a...ppointed attorney Lockhart!!! She listened to me and all the crazy events that led up to my charges! She was genuinely and sincerely invested in my case! We went to court several times and I saw that she represented many other people there! Somehow all the time and effort she gave me and my case made me feel like I was the only person she had to represent! We spoke on the phone over the weekend and on evenings. She was always honest and informed me of the best and worst case scenarios! Before my trial she sat down with me and showed me all the work and documentation she had gathered up. She felt strongly that my case should be dismissed, but let me know the DA would likely fight it and she was willing to fight further if I felt the potential Plea was unreasonable! I went to court that week nervous, but 100% confederate that if anyone could beat this it was my attorney! We went up and she voiced her reasons for asking the court to dismiss my case. On August of 2016 my oldest son was involved in a horrific incident!! He was arrested and all over the news! We've never had to deal with ANY legal matters up until this and out of nowhere my 18 year old child went from popular good student to attempted murderer!! Devastated and heartbroken with no kind of resources I scrambled to the Internet and hired a private attorney at the sum of 300K. I was forced to deplete his collage fund and put myself into Financial ruin!! Luckily my son is home on a GPS for now!! I honestly wish I had known about Maria Lockhart for my child.
