Stephanie Roman represented me in a criminal matter between Oct. 2015 and Oct. 2016. At the initial arraignment she argued that I was not a risk to flee and convinced the judge to release me on personal recognizance against the recommendation of the District Attorney's office. She was well prepared to fight the charges and did extensive research in cases similar to mine.

Attorney Romano made an Appointment to discuss this case with me between 6-10 PM on June 7, 2010, by phone. She did not honor this time commitment, and when, a few days later, I asked her why she had failed to keep an appointment that she herself had made, she called me bad names and hung up the phone on me. I then complained to the Mass. Board of Bar Oveerseers, and Judge Sragow again went ballistic. It seems judges do not care much if and when court-appointe Lawyers do not keep there appointments. Also, according to CPCS standards, court-appointed lawyers are Supposed to maintain physical
Offices, to meet clients. Stephanie has no office' only a post-office address, so she shouldn't even be on the roster to be appointed to defend poor people, in the first place.
