Richard W. Kendall

I made the mistake of trusting Mr. Kendall. Made so many promises that he never kept. Gave him a retainer with no fee agreement. Never returned phone calls. Lied about absolutely everything. Fired him, hired a new attorney that was fabulous and won my case. The new lawyer was even successful in getti...ng Mr. Kendall to refund my deposit. What makes this whole situation so awful is I was really reeling from being brutally double crossed and sandbagged by someone I believed to be a friend. I reached out to Mr. Kendall hoping he could get me a small measure of justice and he never lifted a finger for me. It was a back to back screw job. I am so happy that I persevered and got the justice I deserved.

I hired Mr. Kendall for a very simple matter. He quoted me one fee then tried to charge me more. He never had me sign a fee agreement, violating attorney rules. Luckily I had an email where he said how much he would charge me. I did most of the actual work, he never returned calls or emails and the... actual case was very simple. Instead of talking about my case I had to hear about his huge weekend trip with 2 football games and a trip to Indianapolis to see the Patriots. Not what a client wants to hear. Needing a lawyer is nerve wracking enough without not being sure if he's even going to show up. He was late for court time. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Mr Kendall agreed to handle a matter for me for services in lieu of fee. I was run over by someone who was charged with three crimes. The defendant then tried to have me charged by applying for a criminal complaint. His lawyer then tried to negotiate with me to get his client off. Mr Kendall lied to ...me about the length of the meeting, and I know because I sat and watched the attorney come and go. On the eve of the hearing he took off to Florida to go see a Bruins playoff game. He forwarded me documents to sign for opposing counsel that did not protect me at all. He also asked me to sign his name. I fired him after he tried to then take an unagreed to $5000 fee. He never sent an accounting of his time. I had to hire two other lawyers to finish the matter to tune of $1625.00.
